Greetings hope your Easter Season is continuing to be fruitful and joy-filled. Another message to pass on from Fr Tom Hartman:
Dear St. Michael's Family,
We received the good news earlier today, that we can make public that St. Michael's will be getting a new associate this coming July. Deacon Scott Miller will be joining our family as the newly ordained Fr. Scott Miller.
Deacon Scott Miller is a native of Sioux Falls and is a member of the St. Lambert's Parish. His parents are Todd and Linda Miller. He went to school at Washington High School and played tennis but also enjoys a game of basketball. Deacon Scott will fit right in at St. Michael's school and hopefully, show us some of his skills.
Most of Deacon Miller’s years of studying have been in Minneapolis at St. John Vianney Seminary and St. Paul Seminary. He also served for a year at St. Pope John Paul II Parish in Harrisburg and for a summer as a Deacon at St. Mary's in Sioux Falls.
Having had the privilege of being in the seminary at the same time as Deacon Miller, I am excited to serve all of you with him. My hope is that he will have as positive an experience of our parish family as I did as an associate. Don't be afraid to invite him (us) over for a visit, he said he loves hanging out with families and getting to know who you are.
Please continue to pray for him as his ordination approaches and for our parish family as we all make this new transition.
